ActiveMetal keypads bring the next generation of switching and sensing technology to market in a form that is ideal for security, data entry and harsh environments. Our standard Keypad products are made of 0.394 inch (10 mm) 6061 Aluminum and available in 3 X 4 or 4 X 4 key patterns and designed to mount on a 1-gang electrical box (2-hole version) or on a panel (4-hole version). A 16-pin dual row header on the back is the electrical interface, which outputs data in RS232, Matrix or Wiegand formats. Two sealed LED light sources and a buzzer provide feedback to the user. As with all ActiveMetal products, these keypads feature the ActiveTouch™ touch-sensitive technology and are extremely rugged and fully sealed from rain, spray or any other environmental effects.
