The Axsys Tri-Field Thermal Camera Module is a mid-wave
thermal imager designed for easy installation into user based
security and surveillance equipment. With horizontal fields
of view discretely variable in three steps from 31.5° to 2.7°,
it provides wide angle situational awareness, as well as long
range target recognition with quick Field of View change.
Operating in the 3–5?m spectral region, which is best for
marine and high humidity environments, the Tri-Field Module
utilizes advanced cooled InSb photodetector technology in a
320 x 256, 30?m pitch focal plane array, or optionally a 640
x 512, 15?m pitch focal plane array for maximum resolution.
The Module is compact and easily integrated into an existing
system via an RS232/RS422 interface, handheld pendant, or
rack mounted controller. It offers motorized focus and field
of view switch and Axsys’ user-friendly plug and play operation.
